Finally - a SEARCH Feature! We have just finished adding a fantastic search feature to our themesets.net and frontpagetemplates.com sites! If you haven't noticed it, please take note and make use of it! We have linked it three places: on the upper horizontal bar, on the lower horizontal bar, and in the Main Menu on the left. There are multiple ways to search and sort the results. Our many, MANY thanks to Randy Hummel of globaltraveltech.com for writing and integrating this feature into our sites! What we do for "Free"... We pack our template packages with everything you need to get "up and running;" however, there are many cases where the customers really WANT the "Your Name Here" to look like the one on the preview, or want the wording or graphics changed in the Flash movies. So, here's the scoop on what's included: If you want the "Your Name Here" modified, AND you do not have a decent graphics program to make those changes, a nice e-mail request generally gets you the file at no charge within 24 hours. Note, of course, that the wording can't be excessive, or it won't FIT on the graphic that goes in place. If you have licensed a Flash-enchanced template that has "Your Name Here" in the wording and you do not have Flash 5 or MX to change that, we will modify the name for you at no charge. Changing other wording or graphics do result in additional charges, so please e-mail us with your needs and allow us to quote you on the modifications. Tips & Tricks - Logging in "Live" with FrontPage Often, things go a bit "wacko" when you've published your files to the server (most notably, issues with the navigation buttons when uploading to a UNIX server). Simply logging in "live" to the server, opening a page, verifying the buttons really ARE there in FrontPage Normal and Preview modes, and saving the page will usually fix the issue. To log in live: Open FrontPage, and select File, Open Web (note, I did NOT say "Open"). The pop-up window will have a vertical icon list on the left - select the bottom icon (usually "My Network Places" or "My Webs"). The bottom bar afterward will have a place to type, preceded by "Web name". Type in your domain name, which MUST be preceded by "http://" (without the quotation marks). You will be prompted for username and password; fill these in, and select Open, then you may need to select Open again. Now, simply click on Navigation View, and you're there! Please note that in the upper left of your FrontPage window the address appears - it should now say, "Microsoft FrontPage - http://xxxxxxxxxx". This notation will ensure you are open on the web server, NOT on your hard drive. Any changes you make when logged in "live" will be effective IMMEDIATELY on the server when you save the changed page and will NOT be updated on your hard drive. Next month, we'll discuss bringing down a copy of your web to your hard drive for archive purposes or otherwise!	More on our Webmaster Design Catalog Thank you to all who have signed on as Webmaster Catalog participants! We've had a vast array of questions, ranging from "What's the catch? I mean, what's in it for YOU???" to "How do I add your new products into my catalog?" and "I'm on an Apache server that doesn't support ASP - will your catalog work on my site?". There IS no catch - what's in it for US is that your providing this tool to YOUR customers means there is a greater likelihood of your purchasing more templates from us! We're happy to report we are already seeing an increase in repeat sales to many of our participating webmasters. As far as adding the new products - you don't have to do a THING! As soon as we add them to our catalog, they automatically appear in YOUR catalog. AND, yes, it will work on ANY server, because the data that is pulled in .asp format is pulled from OUR server - no additional bandwidth burden on your site, no requirements on the server! Another frequently asked question - "Do we offer discounts for .....?". The simple answer: no, we don't. We have been in the business of licensing templates for four years, and MANY of our customers are webmasters who have been with us the whole time, and have licensed a rather massive quantity of templates over the years. Our thought on this is if we don't discount to THEM, why would we discount to new customers? BUT... We ARE now offering, retroactive to the sign-up date, a "more-or-less" 10% discount to our webmasters participating in our Catalog Program. This will work as a "buy 10, get 1 free" program. Keep your receipts, each time you've licensed 10 templates, drop us an e-mail with the 10 transaction numbers and the name of the template you would like for free, and we will e-mail you the download link! If you license 10 at $25, you can STILL get a $55 template for free (more than 10% off!!!). Note - this applies to templates ONLY - not to our add-in applications. What do you Think?
